Data Engineering is not all about technology, it has already become clear that it requires distinct soft skills. We will present our approach towards “sensing the internal market”, how to manage stakeholders by being extremely proactive, asking questions rather than receiving orders. The data platform we are building at Pilatus is increasingly becoming a platform for exchange of ideas and business development, a sandbox for product development fueling a data-inspired culture.

Marcus Bitterlich Lecturer

Marcus Bitterlich ist verantwortlich für Data Analytics und Data Science bei der Pilatus Flugzeugwerke AG. Bis August 2023 war er Head of Data & BI Solutions beim Schweizer Versicherungskonzern ZURICH. Zuvor hielt er Positionen im Audit und Consulting, baute das BI Center von Kabel Deutschland und Vodafone Germany mit auf, verantwortete die agile Transformation der BI-Entwicklung bei Robert Bosch Power Tools und leitete den Business-Analytics-Bereich von Rohde&Schwarz und Knorr-Bremse.

Santiago Quintero Catellanos Lecturer

Experte für Data Engineering, Datenvisualisierung und Datenanalyse in Cloud-Umgebungen. Santiago hat über 6 Jahre Erfahrung in der Unterstützung von Unternehmen bei ihrer digitalen Transformation.
